Hi Loyal Viewers,
After many long years, team Brassbanned is back in the hot seat ready to bring you live streaming vision of a National Pipe Band Championship! We will be live this weekend on Saturday and Sunday, bringing you the 2022 Australian Pipe Band Championships, live from just outside of Sydney.
We will have two circles in action on Saturday (and our stream will flight between performances in both circles). It was exceptionally wet on Friday afternoon when we were doing some pre-setting – so tomorrow could be a real adventure in terms of cameras, microphones, wind and rain! Please cross your fingers for us as we set up.
Brassbanned have brought their very best microphone setup – we should get an excellent mix of pipes, snares, tenor and bass drums as well. Tim will talk you through his highly successful band microphone setup – so you too can create recordings filled with terrific sound.
Recordings will be available on YouTube immediately afterwards. If things go really wrong with the weather and rain, we might just do some in camera recordings and upload later!
