Team Brassbanned are BACK for their 18th anniversary live stream (now legally old enough to drink!). We will be live from Brisbane City Hall this Easter weekend bringing you 4K live streaming of the Australian National Band Championships – covering all bands in all grades, selected solos and the high profile Parade of Bands.
Known globally as “the world’s most watched band contest”, the Australian Nationals again promises to be a feast of sonic entertainment. Visually, we will be giving you the closest zoom-ins (HELLO PRINCIPAL CORNETS), the widest wide shots, and the most creative conduct camera shots imaginable. We are also working with Brisbane City Hall to see how many drones we are allowed to fly inside (but we fear the answer might be zero).
We will be live:
Thursday April 2nd Brass Champion of Champions at 5:30pm
Friday April 3 with Concert Bands and the Parade of Bands
Saturday April 4 with Brass Bands performing their Hymn and Test pieces
Sunday April 5 with Brass Bands perfming their Own Choice and Stage March pieces
There will be two venues running throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday – and our intrepid team of super-streamers will bring you all the action from both of them. The only small spanner in our works is being unable to access the main hall until 6am on what shapes up to be a very Good Friday. So, please cross your fingers that our cables uncoil tangle-free, our patch points are clean and our microphones behave.
