Brassbanned is off to the delightful apple isle to bring you immersive coverage of the 2016 Tasmanian State Band Championships
Fresh from their part in the highly acclaimed live stream broadcast of Ballet Preljocaj’s Snow White from the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, team Brassbanned is very excited to be heading to Launceston both for the amazing musical experience that the 2016 Tasmanian Band Championships. We are also trembling with anticipation to get a sense of what the 2017 Australian National Band Championships will be like.
As you might be aware, Launceston will be the lucky host city of the 2017 Australian National Championships – and some of the same venues will be used this weekend in a ‘test run’.
So, aside from some fantastic playing from Brass Bands and Concert Bands, join us to check out the venues and acoustics for the 2017 Nationals!
