September Update

Hey Loyal Viewers,

Did you enjoy your August? Surely you did! It was Brassbanned’s busiest month ever. That’s right, we live streamed 13 days of brass music. From 4 states. In two countries.

We know you love the quality of streaming – amazing vision and audio of some fabulous musical ensembles. Some of you even say nice things about the commentary, which is alarming! For the time being, we are continuing to reject advances from major media companies around the world (sorry Rupert, sorry CNN, sorry Netflix) to continue our independant production of musical events.

If you haven’t yet managed to catch a Brassbanned stream while it’s live – you’re missing out. We bring you a different (and compelling) look at concerts, competitions and masterclasses. If you love brass playing, bands and music then you we know you’ll enjoy our productions.

September is shaping up to be just as entertaining and full of streaming as August was. Here is what we have in store…

  • Tasmanian Band Championships – September 12 & 13. Brassbanned heads to Hobart to stream all 20 bands competing in the TBL’s contest.
  • Eltham High School Celebration Concert – Septebmer 14. Have you heard of the amazing music program at Eltham High School? Hear their award winning symphonic band and other ensembles!
  • NZCBA Festival – September 18 & 19. Live from Rotorua, team Brassbanned brings you the New Zealand Concert Bands Association annual festival

We hope you can join us to check out these great streams! Don’t forget, we still have caps and tea-towels for sale – as well as a few XL t-shirts!

Brassbanned will be heading to beautiful Hobart to stream.
