Brassbanned will be rebranding itself as Pipebanned and is excited to be off to NZ in March to live stream the 2016 NZ National National Pipe Band Contest. There will be a few challenges with this two day, outside broadcast – but we are up to the challenge. We hope.
Did you know that Brass Bands and Pipe Bands have exceptionally similar cultures? I bet you didn’t. Unless you happen to have played with both!
We will be capturing all the action in the main circle – from some well positioned microphones, with at least 2 HD cameras. Still working out exactly how good the network connection will be, but we are crossing out fingers for HD. Join us by crossing yours, as well.
For those of you who ARE Pipe Band enthusiasts first and foremost, please forgive team Brassbanned in advance as we do our very best to deliver coverage that will live up to the quality of the performances.
